Product Features

OPA10A is a brown liquid under ambient temperature and pressure. It is the salt formed by the reaction of isodecyloxypropylamine and acetic acid. The ammonium salt structure in its molecule endows OPA10A with good water solubility, making it more suitable for water-soluble application scenarios. The isodecyl group in the molecule is a highly branched alkyl chain, a structure that provides OPA10A with better permeability and a lower pour point (freezing point) and ensures superior fluidity in low-temperature environments. In addition, OPA10A can be used as a corrosion inhibitor, as it is capable of forming a protective film on metal surfaces.

Application

Metalworking: Serves as a corrosion inhibitor in metalworking fluids and cleaning agents to prevent metal corrosion.

Asphalt Emulsification: Used as a component of asphalt emulsifiers in road construction.

Oilfield Chemistry: Acts as a corrosion inhibitor component in oilfield acidizing and water treatment processes.

Other Fields: Used as a pigment dispersant .

Safety and Storage

From a safety perspective, OPA10A is irritating and corrosive to the skin and eyes, and contact may cause burns. Strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.

In case of skin or eyes contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.

Stored in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from sources of ignition, heat, and oxidizing agents.Store separately from incompatible substances such as acids.
