Product Features

LPDA1214 is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid under ambient temperature and pressure, which is soluble in water and various organic solvents. The molecule of LPDA1214 contains both hydrophilic amino groups and lipophilic long-chain alkoxy groups, a structure that renders it a high-performance surfactant and emulsifier. The two amino groups (-NH₂) in its molecule can undergo further derivatization reactions to generate multi-branched and multifunctional chemicals with different properties, thereby exerting synergistic and auxiliary effects in complex formulations. In addition, LPDA1214 exhibits excellent interfacial activity and is capable of forming and stabilizing foams.

Application

Surfactants and Additives: Serves as an intermediate or direct component in the production of industrial cleaners, detergents, foaming agents, corrosion inhibitors, mineral flotation collectors, fuel additives and lubricant additives.

Emulsifiers: Acts as an effective emulsifier in industries such as coatings, dyes and adhesives.

Industry-Specific Additives: Functions as additives including thickeners, dispersants and antistatic agents in fields like oilfields, pulp and textiles.

Safety and Storage

From a safety perspective, LPDA1214 is irritating and corrosive to the skin and eyes, and contact may cause burns. Strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.

In case of skin or eyes contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.

Stored in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from sources of ignition, heat, and oxidizing agents.Store separately from incompatible substances such as acids.
