DMAPAPA-CAS10563-29-8 is a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid at room temperature. It is miscible with water.
Its molecular structure contains three amino functional groups (one primary amino group, one secondary amino group and one tertiary amino group). The tertiary amino group can effectively catalyze the reaction between polyurethane and epoxy resin, while the primary and secondary amines can be used as efficient curing agents or crosslinking agents for epoxy resin.
Application
Chemical synthesis intermediate: Used in the preparation of dyes, pharmaceuticals, and functional materials, for example, serving as a building block in the synthesis of anticancer drugs.
Catalyst: Acts as a basic catalyst in polymerization reactions (e.g., polyurethane synthesis) to improve reaction efficiency and selectivity.
Metal extractant: Utilizes its coordination capacity to extract and separate heavy metal ions, playing an important role in wastewater treatment.
