Product Features
Broad-spectrum and high-efficiency bactericidal activity: DPTA Y12 exhibits potent killing effects against bacteria, fungi, viruses (e.g., H1N1), and even mites, with a bactericidal concentration far lower than that of traditional quaternary ammonium salt products.
Excellent stability and compatibility: DPTA Y12 maintains stable activity within the pH range of 4-10 and exhibits good compatibility with anionic, nonionic, and cationic surfactants. In alkaline systems, it shows anionic properties, featuring strong bactericidal activity and adaptive compatibility.
Versatility: Integrating multiple functions such as emulsification, dispersion, antistatic property, and lubrication, DPTA Y12 is a high-efficiency amphoteric surfactant.
Application
Disinfection and Preservation: As a high-efficiency bactericide, DPTA Y12 is widely used for disinfection in food and beverage factories, medical institutions, and public places, as well as for preservation of products such as coatings and pulp.
Personal and Household Care: In laundry detergents and laundry pods, DPTA Y12 achieves multiple effects including bactericidal, antifungal, anti-mite, and color-protecting properties; it is also used as a conditioner and antistatic agent in personal care products.
Industrial Additives: In the oilfield sector, DPTA Y12 serves as a bactericide and corrosion inhibitor; in textile and chemical production, it functions as an emulsifier and dispersant.
Safety and Storage
From a safety perspective, DPTA Y12 is irritating to the skin and eyes; strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.
In case of skin contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.
Store in a cool, well-ventilated place(the recommended storage temperature is below 30°C), away from fire , heat sources and oxidizers. Keep container tightly sealed.
