Application
Asphalt emulsifier: This is the primary and classic application of DAT, used to prepare stable asphalt emulsions in road construction and maintenance.
Mineral flotation agent: In the mining industry, DAT serves as a flotation agent for the separation and purification of valuable minerals.
Other industrial additives: DAT can also be used as a lubricating oil additive, coating additive, waterproofing agent, and corrosion inhibitor, among others.
Safety and Storage
From a safety perspective, DAT is irritating to the skin and eyes. Strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.
