Product Features

 

C0211 appears as a pale yellow to brownish yellow transparent liquid at room temperature. It is readily soluble in water and alcoholic solvents such as ethanol. The quaternary ammonium nitrogen atom in its molecule carries a positive charge, enabling it to strongly adsorb onto the surface of negatively charged substances, thereby exerting antistatic, softening, and bactericidal effects. The two hydroxyethyl groups (-CH2-CH2-OH) in the molecule endow it with better water solubility, a lower Krafft point, and improved compatibility.

The C12-C18 carbon chain distribution in the structure of C0211 is uniform, and it contains quaternary ammonium salt groups. While retaining cationic properties (such as bactericidal and antistatic effects), it also possesses certain non-ionic surfactant characteristics due to the introduction of ethoxy chains. This dual nature brings about advantages including enhanced solubilization capacity, better formulation compatibility, and an increased cloud point (suitable for a wider temperature range).




Application

 

Industrial Cleaning:Used as a surfactant in metalworking fluids, hard surface cleaners, etc., it provides excellent decontamination and emulsification effects.

Pesticide Industry:Serving as an environmentally friendly pesticide emulsifier, it delivers superior emulsification performance.

Oilfield Chemistry:Acting as an emulsifier and dispersant, it is applied in oilfield exploration and treatment processes.

Textile and Papermaking:Used as a softener and antistatic agent.




Safety and Storage

 

From a safety perspective, C0211 is irritating to the skin and eyes. Strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.

In case of skin or eyes contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.

It should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated indoor place, protected from moisture and strictly guarded against exposure to sunlight.
