Product Features

O0211 appears as a yellow to brownish-yellow viscous transparent liquid at room temperature. Its solubility in water is 333 mg/L (20℃), indicating ready solubility in water. It is also readily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether and benzene. The long hydrophobic carbon chains and two hydrophilic hydroxyl groups contained in its molecule endow it with both excellent surface activity and water solubility. O0211 possesses outstanding emulsifying properties, capable of effectively reducing interfacial tension and forming stable emulsions. It can also neutralize charges and reduce electrostatic accumulation.

Application

O0211 is a cationic surfactant derived from oleylamine with 2 ethylene oxide (EO) units and in the form of ammonium chloride. It features a relatively high HLB value and can rapidly reduce surface tension. It is commonly used as a penetrant in the formulation system of flaw detection fluids for special equipment, and also applied in surface cleaning and wetting processes, exhibiting superior hydrophilicity, solubilization and detergency effects.

Safety and Storage

From a safety perspective, O0211 is irritating to the skin and eyes. Strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.

In case of skin or eyes contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.

It should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated indoor place, protected from moisture and strictly guarded against exposure to sunlight.
