Product Features
At room temperature, a 30% aqueous solution of CAO is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with a mild, characteristic odor. Its density is approximately 1.045 g/cm³ (20℃), and its boiling point is about 151℃ (at 101.325 kPa). CAO is readily soluble in water and polar organic solvents such as alcohols. It exhibits cationic properties under acidic conditions (pH < 7) and nonionic properties under alkaline conditions (pH > 7). It demonstrates good compatibility with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants.
CAO produces rich, thick, and fine foam with excellent foam-stabilizing ability. It effectively thickens anionic surfactant systems, and its performance is not affected by acids or hard water. Even under hard water conditions, it maintains good cleaning and foaming performance. Mild on both skin and hair, it effectively reduces the irritation caused by other surfactants, making it particularly suitable for infant and baby care products. CAO also provides good antistatic properties, making it an excellent conditioning agent. It effectively removes dirt and oils. With favorable biodegradability, CAO is classified as an environmentally friendly surfactant.
