Product Features

The physical state of OAE-12 at room temperature depends on its concentration, appearing as either a colorless to pale yellow liquid or a white to off-yellow paste. It has a defined melting point of approximately 59℃. OAE-12 is readily soluble in water and polar organic solvents. It exhibits cationic properties under acidic conditions (pH<7) and="" nonionic="" properties="" under="" alkaline="" conditions="" ph="">7). It demonstrates good compatibility with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants. OAE-12 combines various functions, including thickening, antistatic, softening, detergency, and lime soap dispersion. Characterized by mild performance and low irritation, it effectively reduces the irritation caused by anionic surfactants in detergent formulations. Furthermore, it offers excellent foaming and foam-stabilizing properties, producing abundant, fine, and stable foam.

Application

Personal Care and Cosmetics: It serves as a foaming agent, foam stabilizer, thickener, conditioning agent, and antistatic agent, and is widely used in products such as shampoos, body washes, facial cleansers, skincare products, and shaving preparations.

Household and Industrial Cleaning: It is employed in hard-surface cleaners, including dishwashing detergents, bathroom cleaners, and building exterior cleaners, to provide thickening, reduce irritation, and enhance cleaning efficiency. Compared to traditional 6501, it offers advantages such as lower required dosage, superior water solubility, and better wetting performance.

Safety and Storage

From a safety perspective, OAE-12 is irritating to the skin and eyes. Strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.

In case of skin or eyes contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.

It should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated indoor place, protected from moisture and strictly guarded against exposure to sunlight.
