Product Features
The appearance of Tallow Amine Polyoxyethylene Ether varies with the EO number, ranging from colorless transparent liquid to yellow or amber viscous liquid/paste. Its solubility also improves significantly as the EO number increases, changing from water-insoluble to readily water-soluble, and it is soluble in organic solvents such as acetone and benzene. Tallow Amine Polyoxyethylene Ether is a multifunctional surfactant with excellent emulsifying, dispersing, solubilizing, antistatic and lubricating capabilities.
Application
Tallow Amine Polyoxyethylene Ether has an extremely wide range of applications.
Textile printing and dyeing industry: T05/T08 serve as leveling agents (especially for acid metal complex dyes), antistatic agents, softeners and stripping agents, which can improve fabric hand feel and dyeing effects. In the production of viscose fiber, it can enhance the filterability and spinnability of the stock pulp.
Pesticide industry: T15 is often used as an emulsifier and synergist, particularly in herbicides such as glyphosate, to promote drug absorption and penetration. However, it should be noted that its toxicity has also attracted much attention.
Metal processing: It acts as a corrosion inhibitor and rust inhibitor, and is used in fields such as metalworking fluids.
Daily chemicals and personal care: It is used as an emulsifier in products like shampoos to increase hair luster.
Other industries: It serves as an internal antistatic agent in the plastic industry, a dispersant and antistatic agent in coatings, paints and marine paints, and an emulsifier and dispersant in polymer emulsions.
