Product Features

The appearance of Hydrogenated Tallow Amine Polyoxyethylene Ether varies with the molar number of ethylene oxide (EO). It can range from solid and paste to liquid, with common forms including white solid, light yellow or brown viscous liquid. Products with a high EO molar number are readily soluble in water, while those with a low EO molar number need to be dissolved in organic solvents.

Hydrogenated Tallow Amine Polyoxyethylene Ether with different ethylene oxide (EO) adduct molar numbers exhibits distinct water solubility and application profiles.

HT02：This product is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents. It can be used as a plastic antistatic agent and textile additive.

HT05/HT08/HT10：This product is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents.It can be used as a levelling agent for vat and acid dyes; a corrosion inhibitor for petroleum cracking units; as well as a lubricant, emulsifier and dispersant in the pesticide, textile, papermaking and leather industries.

HT12/HT15：This product is soluble in water. It is mainly used as a levelling agent for acid metal complex dyes, which can reduce the dosage of sulfuric acid in the dye bath and mitigate the strength damage to fabrics. It can also serve as a levelling agent for neutral dyes and vat dyes. It effectively controls the rapid dye uptake rate and dye migration, and facilitates rapid dyeing at high temperatures.

It acts as a levelling agent for wool, linen, silk and synthetic fibers; increasing its concentration turns it into an ideal stripping agent. As a stripping agent for wool and polyamide fabrics, it is applicable to wool stripping and level dyeing processes, which can improve the appearance of fabrics. In the dyeing and printing of ice dyes, it enhances the abrasion fastness of fabrics.

In the production of viscose rayon tire cords, it is used as an additive to improve the cord strength, optimize the viscose filterability and processing technology, increase the monofilament strength of tire cords, and reduce the replacement rate of spinning nozzles by approximately 20–40% compared with the original rate.

In textiles, it functions as an emulsifier, antistatic agent and dispersant.

HT20/HT25/HT30：It serves as a detergent, emulsifier, dispersant, desizing agent, antistatic agent and softener in the textile printing and dyeing industry.

When applied in viscose stock solution, it can improve the filterability and yarn defect resistance of the stock solution; during the alkalization process, it can significantly reduce the power load and enhance the looseness of alkaline fibers.

HT60：In the textile industry, it acts as a levelling agent for the post-finishing of printed silk fabrics, preventing the staining of white textile substrates and enhancing color brightness.

In the daily chemical industry, it is used in shampoos to improve hair luster.

Safety and Storage

Its ability to cause sensitization upon skin contact necessitates strict personal protective equipment (PPE) during handling.

In case of skin contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.

Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated indoor area; protect against moisture and avoid direct sunlight.
